27 years experience in design, manufacture and engineering container handling solutions. Megalift Ltd. was setup to manufacture bespoke heavy lift equipment such as our range of ‘Side loaders’. The Megalift can lift or deploy fully loaded container in less than 2 minutes on any ground conditions. We are located in Ireland and export our equipment to 37 countries globally My passion is to manufacture simple/robust equipment capable of operating in all conditions. Having started out in 1994 with Moffett truck-mounted forklifts working as an engineer specializing in fabrication and hydraulics on a global basis, In 2000 I moved into technical support, Research & Development and finally was responsible for Global sales within the heavy handling sector. Having gained invaluable experience I saw a niche in the market and in 2005 we setup “Telemount Truck Mount Forkilfts” of which I was a Director. With the ability to listen to customer demands I played an instrumental role in moving the business into the world of heavy handling - containers and abnormal loads.
